The Wirral Peninsular is located between the Rivers Dee and Mersey with docks and many tourist attractions overlooking the Mersey and rolling countryside with many different attraction overlooking the Dee.  This diverse area is home to Port Sunlight,  the village built by the Lever Soap Manufacturers in the last century to house the factory workers in what was then luxury suroundings with great facilities for their families.  Port Sunlight now has a Museum (Port Sunlight Vision)  where you can revisit the golden era of the factory and see what made this village so special.
Whether you are looking to walk on,  watch birds along the banks of the Dee (RSPB reserve) or see the seals off Hilbre Island Wirral has so much to do and see....will a short break be long enough?
