Ian and his wife Caroline are throwing a party to celebrate and you are invited to join them. Ian’s big passion is Westerns and Cowboy films so he’d love everybody to come along dressed in their favorite cowboy outfit!  Has Ian’s luck finally changed or is holding his celebration party on Friday the 13th a big, big mistake?

Set in 1929,  Maxwell Sinclair QC the famous lawyer, has successfully concluded yet another case. He has somehow managed to get the notorious 'gangster' Frank Malone acquitted of the murder of Johnny ‘Diamond’ Cassidy.  Frank is throwing this party as a celebration and a thank you to Maxwell. But there is still an outstanding question - just who did commit this heinous murder?  1920s fancy dress - gangsters and their molls.

Today he has been allowed out on a special licence because he is marrying his fiancée Charlotte Jennings, and you are all invited to the reception.  Charlotte has always stood by John and loves him and is prepared to wait for John to finish his sentence and she is working hard at the fight to clear his name. But if John didn’t kill Nathan, who did?

"The Haunting"

The room you are having dinner in tonight is haunted.  It is said that an awful murder was committed in the dining room and the victim cannot rest until the bloody act has been avenged.  Can Gordon Summers, local researcher and fellow of the British Institute of Parapsychology and his colleagues find out the truth before the film crew from "Help My House Is Haunted" - or will the investigations simply lead to more tragedy and death?

 

ITINERARY 

The event will start with a drinks reception at 7.30pm followed by dinner at 8.00pm.

The Actors will join you from the beginning.  They are the victims and the suspects.

The action will unfold around you and you will have the opportunity to interrogate all the suspects.

You can be involved as much as you want, or if you prefer to enjoy the evening in a less dramatic way, just sit back, relax and be assured that we can promise you excellent fare and lively entertainment

Remember, if you arrive at the venue after 7.30pm the plot will already be underway and you may immediately be at a disadvantage in your sleuthing.

The case should be wrapped shortly after coffee. With a bit of luck.

 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Bring a note pad and a pen with you to jot down everything you hear. 

Interrogate the suspects. They may have something to hide.  

For those of you attending as dedicated sleuths, remember, this is not a time for true British reserve, do not be frightened or delicate about asking those awkward questions.   All the participants have a story to unfold and they cannot do that without you

Listen carefully to what the suspects are saying to each other.

Watch for any hidden facial expression that may give away a guilty secret.

Be suspicious and trust your instincts.

Above all, stay alert and keep your eyes and ears open. Trust no one. The person sitting next to you may be a murderer.
