Having your baby christened or welcomed into the world in a naming ceremony is a joyful occasion for the whole family. At Leasowe Castle we offer a beautiful venue for your reception, and we are fully licensed to hold naming ceremonies.
We have a selection of stunning rooms and suites available to suit all party types and sizes.
Whether you want a simple celebration for close friends and family with tea and cake; a big party with a hot or cold buffet and bar; or even a formal sit down meal, our events team can arrange it for you. Rooms can be decorated with special Christening colours and our glorious lawns can be used if the sun shines.
The castle has plenty of free parking and is in easy driving distance of many churches including:
- The Sacred Heart Church, Moreton
- St Peter and Paul’s Church, New Brighton
- English Martyrs Church, Wallasey
- Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Leasowe
When booking Leasowe Castle for a naming ceremony you will need a professional celebrant to conduct the event. Wirral registry office request that arrangements for the ceremony are made directly with them. They can be contacted on tel: 0151 606 2020.
Accommodation is available for you and your guests within the castle if you wish to stay over. All our rooms are tastefully decorated with ensuite bathrooms and the latest facilities for an enjoyable stay.
