Leasowe Castle is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships from 2 to 250 guests. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a lavish celebration, we have the perfect setting for you. You can choose to get married inside the castle or outside in our romantic garden pergola.

We are also pleased to host Jewish and Asian weddings as well as blessings. With over 12 years experience, our expert planners are familiar with the special customs specific to different religions, and will work with you to ensure your ceremony is special in every way.

Civil Ceremonies

At Leasowe Castle we have three suites licensed to hold civil ceremonies:

The Star Chamber

A simply stunning room named after the magical gold stars that decorate the ceiling. The stars were brought all the way from the Courts of Westminster in the early 1900s. Original wood panelling and ornate tapestries, depicting the four seasons, adorn the walls adding to the great character and charm of this special room.

Suitable for up to 50 guests.

The Portcullis Restaurant

For a more contemporary venue, The Portcullis Restaurant provides a beautiful setting full of natural light and wonderful views across the green fairways of Leasowe golf course.

Suitable for up to 90 guests.

The Castle Suite

A truly grand suite with high ceilings, ornate decor and wonderful views across Leasowe golf course.

Offering true versatility, this stunning suite can be divided into the Castle Suite North and Castle Suite South to cater for parties of different sizes. For the larger, more lavish wedding the entire room can entertain up to 250 guests.
